Rally US has set Knoxville as the operational base for the United States round of the 2027 FIA World Rally Championship, with a ceremonial start on Nashville's Lower Broadway.

The event is scheduled for 26 to 29 August 2027 and is planned to cross more than 15 counties in Tennessee and Kentucky. Knoxville's World's Fair Park and Convention Center will host the WRC Arena, combining the teams' base with a fan festival and other public activity.

Nashville will stage the ceremonial start on Lower Broadway. The promoter's current plan includes live music, driver appearances, fan events and community celebrations, but it has not published a stage map, service-park footprint, road-closure plan, spectator capacity or supplier contracts.

The announcement moves the new US round beyond its place on the 15-event championship calendar by identifying the two principal host cities and the operational centre. That has direct planning implications for freight, temporary infrastructure, accommodation, hospitality, security, local transport and event staffing.

The official release does not state promoter fees, public funding, projected attendance, economic-impact estimates or commercial-rights terms. MRI has not inferred any of those figures. Priority ticket, hospitality and volunteer registration has opened, while the detailed route and competitive schedule remain to be announced.

MRI does not currently have an exact Rally US or WRC Promoter business profile, so no approximate rally-team listing or logo has been attached. No reusable first-party feature-image permission was established and the article is published without an image.
