The rules for sellers, product safety, external purchase links and MRI-hosted digital-file transactions.

Physical products that link to a retailer are purchased from that independent retailer under its own terms. Approved Drawings & Scans listings can use MRI-hosted Stripe Connect checkout only after the listing, file-security, seller-verification and legal-release gates pass. An MRI basket does not create an order, reservation or payment.
Seller eligibility
A seller must be an identifiable business with an approved storefront and an authorised account representative. Listed and Claimed businesses may operate a moderated storefront; a paid Featured plan provides labelled priority placement but is not seller verification or an endorsement.
Seller responsibilities
The seller is responsible for legal authority to sell, product authenticity, specifications, compatibility, condition, price, stock, taxes, delivery, warranties, returns, recalls and customer support. Sellers must maintain an accessible support contact and accurate terms.
Prohibited and restricted products
Counterfeit, stolen, recalled, illegal, sanctioned or dangerously misdescribed goods are prohibited. Used or pre-owned helmets, harnesses, racing seats, head-and-neck restraints, fire-suppression equipment and other safety-critical equipment whose history, certification or integrity cannot be reliably established are not eligible for publication. MRI may restrict additional categories as safety or law requires.
Product and stock accuracy
Products require moderation before publication. Imported catalogue information must retain an official source and review date where available. Buyers should confirm current price, stock, fitment, homologation and delivery directly with the seller before purchase.
External purchase route
When a product links to an official seller website, that seller is the seller of record. Its checkout, payment, delivery, warranty, return, dispute and privacy terms apply. MRI does not receive the external order and cannot cancel or refund it. Contact the seller first, then the relevant payment provider or consumer authority if needed.
MRI baskets and wish lists
Saved items, wish lists and baskets are private organisational tools. They do not reserve inventory, lock a price, accept an offer or create a contract. Where MRI prepares a retailer handoff, the retailer must still confirm the final basket and transaction.
MRI payment activation
Public payment cannot be enabled merely by adding a Stripe key. A separate legal release control must also be approved after seller identity, tax responsibility, merchant-of-record position, consumer disclosures, file or product safety, webhook reconciliation, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, privacy and support tests pass.
Payment and order verification
Where MRI Checkout is enabled, card data remains on Stripe-hosted pages. A browser return does not mark an order paid. A signed webhook must confirm the payment, total, currency, seller destination and server-held order snapshot before digital delivery can begin.
Digital-file access
A paid drawing, CAD model or scan remains available in the buyer's purchase library for 12 months from confirmed payment and may be downloaded at any time during that period. After 12 months MRI stops providing hosted storage and download access, so buyers should keep a secure local copy. A file already downloaded to the buyer's own device remains available to use under the purchased licence. This hosted-access period does not limit any remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refunds and disputes
MRI-hosted orders display the responsible seller, licence and refund route before payment. Buyers can request a refund from their purchase record; sellers or MRI can submit an eligible Stripe refund, and status changes only after payment-provider confirmation. Chargebacks can pause payouts and require evidence. Nothing in this policy limits non-excludable consumer rights.
Moderation, recalls and reporting
MRI may suspend a store or product while ownership, safety, accuracy, delivery or payment concerns are investigated. Sellers must report known recalls or safety notices promptly. Buyers and rights holders can report a product through Contact & corrections.
Privacy
Public storefront details are supplied for publication. Private seller, buyer, delivery, moderation and payment records are restricted to authorised parties and retained only as described in the Privacy Notice.
