About the role

Scope of Position: The Procurement Co-op Student will support the Purchasing and Logistics team with day-to-day procurement activities, inventory management, data analysis, and system-related tasks. The role will provide hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations while supporting accurate records, process improvements, and cross-functional problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Purchasing team with day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities. Support STORES operations, including inventory-related activities and maintaining accurate records. Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, and Stores to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory-related issues. Support the SAP implementation team with system-related activities, data entry, testing, documentation, and other tasks as required. Help maintain accurate and organized purchasing and inventory records Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with data and reports. Communicate effectively with internal departments and suppliers through professional verbal and written communication. Basic Requirements: Currently enrolled in a college or university co-op program in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
