Evans GP is seeking a contract Race Engineer for its upcoming Formula 4 and Formula Regional programmes. The role combines international race and test event work across Asia and the Middle East with engineering preparation and workshop-based collaboration at the team's Sepang base in Malaysia.
Responsibilities include pre-event preparation; run planning; setup direction; coordination with mechanics and data engineering; driver briefings and debriefings; data-led performance decisions; technical reporting; and calm, clear communication throughout tests and race weekends.
Previous race-engineering experience at Formula 4 or Formula Regional level is essential. Applicants should demonstrate strong understanding of single-seater setup and vehicle dynamics, effective driver development, confident use of motorsport data systems, disciplined planning and the ability to make sound decisions under time pressure. Candidates must be able to travel internationally and work flexible motorsport hours.
