Evans GP is seeking a contract #2 Mechanic for its upcoming Formula 4 and Formula Regional programmes. The role combines international race and test event work across Asia and the Middle East with workshop-based preparation and maintenance, including work at the team's Sepang base in Malaysia.
Responsibilities include supporting the #1 Mechanic with car preparation, maintenance and setup changes; component inspection and servicing; pre-session and post-session checks; garage organisation; safe use of tools and equipment; and efficient turnaround during events and tests.
Previous Formula 4 or Formula Regional experience is not required. Applicants should have relevant mechanical, race-team, competition-vehicle or high-quality workshop experience, strong practical aptitude, dependable working standards and a willingness to learn. Experience in another motorsport category is welcomed. Candidates must be able to travel internationally and work flexible motorsport hours.
